Golf NSW has confirmed the schedule for the 2026 Ford Women’s NSW Open Regional Qualifying Series, a six-event pathway that will give professionals and amateurs the chance to secure their place in one of the nation’s premier women’s championships.
Each event in the series will feature a $50,000 prize pool and offer a high-stakes chance for players to claim one of just two qualifying spots in the Ford Women’s NSW Open.
The journey begins on the South Coast at Mollymook Golf Club from 9–11 October 2025. Set against sweeping ocean views, the links-style layout is renowned for its undulating fairways and coastal breezes, promising a spectacular opening to the series.
From there, the action shifts inland to Wagga Wagga Country Club from 15–17 October, where players will face a strategic tree-lined championship course on the banks of Lake Albert, long recognised as a jewel of the Riverina.
The tour then moves west to Dubbo Golf Club from 26–28 November. Known for its immaculate fairways and open-country backdrop, Dubbo provides a stern test and is one of the most popular venues in western NSW.
A week later, the spotlight falls on Narrabri Golf Club from 30 November to 2 December. With over a century of history and a proud golfing community, the North West Slopes venue is set to again deliver a warm welcome and a challenging contest.
After the summer break, the series resumes in the Southern Highlands at Moss Vale Golf Club from 11–13 February 2026. Surrounded by rolling hills and tall trees, its picturesque but demanding layout will test players’ accuracy and course management.
The final chance to qualify will come at The Links Shell Cove from 17–19 February. Just south of Wollongong, this modern coastal course offers wide fairways, testing winds and a dramatic setting for the last opportunity to earn a place in the championship field.
Spectators can enjoy free entry at each event, giving locals the chance to experience elite golf up close. It’s a unique opportunity for regional communities to engage with the sport, cheer on emerging stars, and be part of the excitement as players battle for a coveted spot in the Ford Women’s NSW Open.
For those unable to attend in person, the final round of every qualifying tournament will be broadcast live on Kayo, bringing the action to fans across the country.
Golf NSW Chief Executive Officer Stuart Fraser said the Regional Qualifying Series highlights the organisation’s commitment to both growing the women’s game and showcasing elite golf in towns and cities across the state.
“Regional qualifying ensures that players from all corners of New South Wales and beyond have the opportunity to compete for a place in the Ford Women’s NSW Open,” Mr Fraser said.
“Equally important, these events bring significant economic and social benefits to their host towns, inspiring local players and fans while showcasing the best of regional golf.”
Golf NSW General Manager – Golf, Olivia Wilson, echoed the importance of the series in developing future talent.
“The series, as it has done in recent years, can really help a future star of our sport get to the next level,” Ms Wilson said.
“With a guaranteed place in the Ford Women’s NSW Open, players will be aiming to lock up their spot quickly and set the tone for a successful summer.”
